Before the test

• [ ] The assumption is written as a clear, falsifiable statement
• [ ] You know what result would prove it wrong
• [ ] The test is the cheapest way to learn something real
• [ ] You have decided in advance what you will do with each outcome

During the test

• [ ] You measure behaviour, not opinions
• [ ] You record observations as they happen

After the test

• [ ] Evidence is added to the related risk in your analysis
• [ ] The likelihood score is reassessed
• [ ] The next assumption to test is chosen
